piece o’ cake 9 February 2009

Valentine’s day is fast approaching. Red roses, teddy bears and other stuff in red are displayed everywhere. However, something unique caught my attention as I made my way to the restroom in Divisoria Mall.

Colorful cakes are carefully arranged on top of the other. There were several mini round cakes and slices of chocolate cakes. They came with their own cake toppers and imaginative accents. What makes them unique is that you can place them on your table without worrying for the ants to pest around it. They are not edible yet you can have them as long as you want with no expiration date.

Lost and Found: 12th MassKara Village 11 October 2008

Filed under: crafty things, point in time, swing around — isay @ 9:00 pm

This article gave me a confusion of the exact location of this year’s MassKara Village. We couldn’t find it in SM City. Even the mall guards didn’t know about it. We were led to the AAB Mask Exhibit instead. Jeanette later told me that the village exists but it is not opened until the 6th. A tv ad confirmed this information but it is located at Robinson’s Place contrary to what I had read in the newspaper. Or could it be another MassKara Village at SM on that day only?

Sa may bintana 6 October 2008

Filed under: crafty things, the lighter side — isay @ 9:51 pm

Hihihi…

Where’s the MassKara Village? 6 October 2008

Filed under: crafty things, swing around — isay @ 12:18 am

I saw from a local newspaper that SM MassKara Village was opened on the 1st day of the MassKara celebration. I was expecting that I could see a similar village held in Robinson’s Place last year. Jeanette and Biboy had asked 2 mall guards for the location of the village but none of them heard about it. As we searched for it, what we saw was a mask exhibit at the cinema lobby.

Little doggie plays the giant burger 27 August 2008

cd cases

cd cases

My mom was looking for a non-stick frying pan when we came across a shelf of cd cases. They are not just ordinary cd cases but they are stuffed toys with cd cases. I’ve seen them before in Divisoria but I didn’t buy them because I have a lot of things to bring home during that time.

Luckily, we are able to bring extra money. My mom just bought a strainer which only costs Php 40. So I got two for myself – a small bulldog which reminds me of Val because he loves dogs and a giant burger which reminds me of food! :D

Cutie Kitty 21 August 2008

I accompanied my brother for an eye check-up in EO (Eye Optical) yesterday afternoon. He has been using his eyeglasses for a couple of years and he lately complains of unclear vision. Last year, I have my eyeglasses corrected there and the price is affordable. Because only the supermarket is my favorite section in SM Bacolod, I forgot if EO is located in the North or the South Wing.

Nowadays, there are several lovely ”tsinelas” displayed all over. May it be in boutiques, malls, department stores and even sidewalks.
